It was about time I saw my two lovely bloggers. Despite the chilling minus temperatures that evening, Eva, Lucy and I met up for Friday evening cake and coffee in a stunning all-white cafe that has been on my to-go-to list for what feels like ages. I have a thing for exploring new venues with old friends. 

Do you dare to leave the house in unbearably cold temperatures? If so, what are you recent destinations?

Už byl čas se vidět s mýma dvěma krásnýma bloggerkama. Přes minusový teploty jsme se ten večer sešli s Evou a Luckou na páteční večerní dort a kávu v nádherné bílé kavárně, do které jsem se chtěla podívat už dlouhou dobu. Ráda objevuju nová místa se starými přáteli.

Odvážíte se opustit dům v nesnesitelně nízkých teplotách? Pokud ano, kam?

Up until this year's love-day I've never been the Valentines type of girl, either because I was too cynical, or too single. But deep down inside I always wanted to celebrate it, just like any girl I guess. So this year my boyfriend took me out on the sweetest, most romantic date to one of my favorite restaurants. I think I'll always be the Valentines type of girl from now. The day really is full of "love in the air". 

When it comes to Valentines day, are you for or against? 

Až do letošního dne jsem nikdy neslavila den Svatého Valentýna, buď proto, že jsem byla příliš cynická, nebo příliš sama. Ale hluboko uvnitř jsem vždycky chtěla tento svátek slavit. V tomto roce můj přítel mě vzal na nejkrásnější a nejromantičtější rande do jedné z mých nejoblíbenějších restaurací. Myslím, že z tohoto roku budu tím typem, co svátek slaví. Ten den je skutečně plný "lásky ve vzduchu".

Když jde o den Svatého Valentýna, jste pro, nebo proti?

Of course there is no sole recipe for the perfect weekend. In fact, there are many. But naturally, we all have our preferences when it comes to the ingredients. 

This perfect chilly morning of a perfect weekend began with a fresh lazy brunch, a clear blue sky and a bunch of friends. It was also the ideal excuse for wearing my new striped shirt and mesmerizing green clutch. And just to prove that winter cannot beat me, I added a skirt. 

When it comes to weekends, what makes it perfect for you?

Samozřejmě není jediný recept na dokonalý víkend. Ve skutečnosti jich existuje mnoho. Toto chladné dokonalé ráno perfektního víkendu začalo s pozdní snídaní, jasným modrým nebem a partou přátel. Také toto ráno bylo ideální příležitostí si na sebe vzít novou pruhovanou košili a okouzlující zelené psaníčko. A jen proto, abych dokázal, že mě zima neodolá, přidala jsem sukni.

Když jde o víkendy, co ho dělá ideálním pro Vás?

As heartbreaking as typing this is, unfortunately there is no winner of the last giveaway I hosted. Out of the six, yes six, ideas presented for my blog's future title I found that not one was suitable or original enough to actually become the title of my blog. I refuse to think that there are no striking ideas out there, therefore next time, I urge you, my read readers, to become more active! For a prize as nice as Helmut Newton's photography book it doesn't hurt to drop a comment.

Přesto, jak hodně tohle nechci psát, bohužel vítěz posledního giveaway neexistuje. Z šesti, ano šesti, nápadů na nový název blogu mi ani jeden nepřišel vhodný nebo originální natolik, aby se skutečně stal titulem mého blogu. Nevěřím, že vůbec nikdo neměl žádné nápady, a tak žádám Vás, mé drazí čtenáři, příště bud'te aktivnější! Za tak pěknou cenu, jako je kniha fotografií Helmuta Newtona, napsát alespoň jeden komentář přece neuškodí.

In early January the family and I hit the Alps in Kitzbuhel, Austria for a delightfully relaxing week of skiing. No access to the internet or laptops for a week = complete heaven. I love the feeling of skiing and the panoramas opening were another significant attraction. I was meaning to take my camera up to the top to snap some views, however from day two it began snowing vigorously (which on day four resulted in the huge snow storm that hit Austria) and it became difficult to see the end of your skies, let alone the landscape. But you can still see the photos I made with my phone on the mountaintop before the storm approached.
Otherwise, discovering the town of Kitzbuhel proved to be a beautiful experience, which I'm gladly hoping to repeat next year. Probably one of the prettiest and coziest, but at the same time super fun, ski resorts out there. The beauty of the town and the monstrous mountains made up the perfect winter getaway.


Na začátku ledna spolu s rodinou jsem jela do Alp v Kitzbuhel, Rakousko pro nádherně relaxační týden lyžování. Týden bez přístupu k internetu nebo notebooku = ráj. Miluji ten pocit z lyžování a otevírající se panorama byla dalším významným plusem. Chtěla jsem si vzít foťák až na vrchol abych vyfotila některé výhledy, ale druhý den začalo šíleně sněžit (což na čtvrtý den způsobilo obrovské sněhové bouře, které zasáhly Rakousko) a bylo obtížné vidět konec své lyže, natož krajiny. Ale přesto můžete vidět fotky, které jsem udělala mobilem na vrcholu hory v první den.
Jinak, objev města Kitzbühel se ukázal krásným zážitkem, který s radostí doufám zopakovat v příštím roce. Pravděpodobně jeden z nejhezčích a ůtulnějších, ale zároveň velmi zábavných, lyžařských měst. Krása města a monstrózní hory tvoří perfektní vólno.
